From October 2018 through July 2019, I served as a project manager for the 2019 LSA Summer Institute, hosted by the UC Davis Department of Linguistics. This is a fantastic month-long experience for students and faculty alike, where they can meet linguists at all stages of their careers – and network and learn from each other.

Please visit the 2019 LSA Institute website for more information

I supported planning and implementation of the LSA Summer Institute including planning the courses (scheduling, course themes), organizing the additional events (e.g., 10+ Wednesday Workshops, 10 Weekend Conferences, 7 Lectures, 5 Receptions) held at the Institute, developing the course management system (Orbund) and training resources, promoting the Institute (via posters, flyers, email flyers, etc.), updating the LSA 2019 Institute website, planning weekend excursions for the students (Napa, San Francisco), and making housing arrangements for over 60 faculty (Airbnb, Visiting Scholar Apts, Dorms) and 100+ students in the dorms.
